Hilary Duff Hit The Studio With Tove Lo
Breathe easy, pop fans. Hilary Duff hasn’t given up on music! The much-loved diva, who stars in upcoming TV Land drama Younger, just wound up a week-long stint in Sweden working on new songs. There isn’t a lot of information about her collaborators yet but we know she spent time in the studio with “Stay High” hitmaker Tove Lo — thanks to a pair of adorable Instagram updates.
“Got to hang with this talented beauty today,” wrote the Queen Of The Clouds songstress. She followed that up with the hashtags #studiotime and, somewhat bizarrely, #wolfcousins. It’s great that Hilary hasn’t been discouraged by the underperformance of misguided comeback single “Chasing The Sun” (it just wasn’t good enough) and the very-good-but-annoyingly-overlooked “All About You.”
Tove Lo’s synth sensibility sounds like a good fit for the former teen queen and could mark a return to the electro-pop greatness of 2007 LP Dignity. Which would single-handedly save pop music as we know it. See the not so-odd-couple’s pics below.
