UPDATE: The full version of Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love (2014 Remix)” has arrived today, February 5. Enjoy it below!

Earlier today (February 4), a 90-second snippet of Beyonce‘s “Crazy In Love (2014 Remix),” as heard in the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, surfaced online. Following the teaser that announced the E.L. James film adaptation, and then an official trailer, this preview is the longest of her revamp yet — and it doesn’t disappoint.

“Your love’s got the best of me,” Beyonce sings, her voice creaking. In the 2003 original featuring now-husband Jay Z, her voice skitters past that line without pause, as if she’s got butterflies in her stomach. This time, though, she repeats this line four times over before she trails off, then seems to gasp, as if she’s imagined herself as the submissive Anastasia Steele (played by Dakota Johnson) in one of the film’s S&M scenes. Meanwhile, the instrumentation behind her — the rhythmic trap door, crashing percussion and dramatic strings — threaten to overtake her; the larger the song grows, the more delirious Beyonce sounds.

Beyonce is featured alongside the Weeknd (“Earned It”), Ellie Goulding (“Love Me Like You Do”), Skylar Grey (“I Know You”) and Sia (“Salted Wound”) in the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack — a wide range of pop superstars. Based on how “Crazy In Love (2014 Remix)” sounds so far, though, King Bey is bound to be the compilation’s main attraction. Hear the latest snippet below.
