Kelly Clarkson Teases Her Romantic “Heartbeat Song” Video: Watch A Preview
Kelly Clarkson is coming for your basic fave. The inaugural American Idol winner shared the first glimpse of her “Heartbeat Song” video this afternoon (February 4) and it looks like a romantic affair with lots of happy couples doing typical couple stuff. Like showing cringeworthy PDA in public places. The clip also boasts footage of the 32-year-old looking fresh, happy and gorgeous as she twirls against a pink and purple background. Nice.
Produced by Greg Kurstin, “Heartbeat Song” is the lead single from Kelly’s sixth LP Piece By Piece (due March 3). After a slow start, the synth-pop gem is starting to gain some momentum on iTunes — it’s top 20 and climbing — and should shoot even higher when the video drops. The much-loved diva’s album features a duet with John Legend (“Run Run Run”) and a song penned by Sia (“Invincible”). Watch the preview up top.
