Grammy Wins You Didn’t See Happen, From Clean Bandit To Lady Gaga To Max Martin: 14 Photos

Sure, you saw about nine statues handed out during last night’s overly-long telecast of the 57th annual Grammy Awards, but that was really just a drop in the bucket with regards to all the hardware that was passed over to musicians. For instance, house-pop Brits Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne picked up the Best Dance Recording trophy for their global smash “Rather Be,” which was Idolator’s top choice for 2014’s best single.

Other untelevised moments came when Max Martin picked up the award for Best Producer, Non-Classical — mind you, the unparalleled hit-maker’s first ever Grammy win (How is that even possible?) — and Lady Gaga and her Cheek To Cheek pal Tony Bennett snagged the gold for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

Another star pair who won, for Best R&B Album: Babyface and Toni Braxton, for their winter 2014 release Love, Marriage & Divorce.

Flip through the gallery of pics above to see the artists who showed up to pick up their Grammys before the TV cameras were turned on.
