Iggy Azalea Stands By Her Grammy’s Braid, Congratulates Sam Smith & Still Has A Lot To Say About Papa John’s
Iggy Azalea is really, really pissed at Papa John’s. She fired off a string of tweets before the Grammys last night (February 8) accusing the pizza chain of breaching her privacy. The rap diva contends that one of their drivers shared her personal phone number with family and friends — and has the screengrabs to prove it. Instead of apologizing/investigating the complaint, Papa John’s replied with song lyrics. That inspired another Twitter outburst this morning.
“I see some of the more mentally challenged blogs think I’m having a war with papa johns,” I-G-G-Y fumed. “No, I just want answers & they have none.” She then outlined her concerns in even greater detail: “They are a company that retains your address, name, number & CREDIT card information, expiration cvc number etc. A lot of damage can be done if that falls into the wrong hands, we give them this information with the expectation it remains confidential.”
Everything the “Fancy” chart-topper says is absolutely correct, but perhaps this war would have been better fought over the phone or via her legal team. In non-pizza news, Iggy also jumped on Instagram to defend her meme-spawning Grammy’s hair braid. “Once again I must mention, I fucking loved my hair. The world is full of basics,” she wrote. The femcee also retweeted a link to an interview with her hair stylist.
It wasn’t all drama however. The Aussie bombshell couldn’t have been more gracious about losing to Sam Smith in multiple Grammy categories. “Had an awesome time at the Grammys and congratulations Sam!!!” Iggy raved in another Instagram post. “I couldn’t be happier to have lost to someone as talented and deserving as you. Hahaha Love ya!” See her tweets to Papa John’s below:
. @PapaJohns was my favorite pizza but the drivers they use give out your personal phone number to their family members.

And the supervisors at @PapaJohns refuse to send pictures of their employess so you can identify who it is that steals your information

You know, to protect their privacy… Too bad they don't value the privacy of their customers also. #DamnShame

When an employee steals information it's called data breach. It's illegal. There are steps a corporation is supposed to follow afterward.

They don't include tweeting out song lyrics to the customer making the complaint, it's really unprofessional. I want a real answer.

If someone at T-Mobile got your # after you paid a bill and started calling over and over, you'd expect a real resolution via the company.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
You wouldn't expect a tweet that said something like "uh oh! Don't let him use up all your minutes girl!" From the company.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
You wouldn't expect the supervisor to say "don't worry! His mom has spoken with him!"
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
And you'd probably want to get a new credit card too.
