Lana Del Rey & Kanye Cover 'Billboard'
Kanye West and Lana Del Rey are simply glamorous on Billboard magazine's annual Power 100 issue.

Well, this is a pleasant surprise! Lana Del Rey‘s Ultraviolence era might have already wrapped up to make way for the next chapter — Honeymoon! — but there’s still more goodness coming from Lana’s stormy second LP.

British producer/songwriter extraordinaire Richard X, responsible for crafting lush synth-pop goodness with Annie, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Rachel Stevens among many others, has put his own spin on Lana’s dreamy Ultraviolence tune, “Brooklyn Baby.”

True to form, Richard’s taken the hypnotic tune and drizzled loads of chilly synths and a slight tropical sheen to the mix, giving the song an entirely new, sparkly feel suited for the dance floor. (You’ll either love this makeover or find it entirely off the mark.)

What do you think of the Richard X reinterpretation of Lana’s “Brooklyn Baby”? Sound off in the comments below.
