Watch the gritty clip for songwiter Jimmy's pop debut.

British songwriter/all around hitmaker Jimmy Napes picked up no less than four Grammys on Sunday night, for his hand in Sam Smith‘s “Stay With Me” (Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year winner) and In The Lonely Hour (Best Pop Vocal Album), plus Clean Bandit‘s “Rather Be” (Best Dance Recording). Needless to say, the guy is on a hot streak…so what better time to step into the spotlight as a pop artist?

Last month Napes offered up funky new song “Give It Up” (produced by Disclosure‘s Howard Lawrence), off his forthcoming The Making Of Me EP. Now he’s serving up the four-track release’s title track, which is a much more house-pop affair.

Jimmy, whose real name is James Napier, definitely has a signature sound, and thankfully he’s not straying from it for his own music. Give his latest a listen above.
