Vance Joy is hitting the road for a brief run of solo shows ahead of his support slot on Taylor Swift‘s 1989 World Tour. The Aussie songsmith’s North American headline tour kicks off on April 9 at The Showbox in Seattle and includes appearances at several major festivals including Coachella, Hangout Music Fest 2015 and Boston Calling.

James Keogh (his real name) broke big internationally in 2013 when “Riptide” stormed the charts in Australia and Europe. He then found similar success stateside in 2014 thanks to heavy touring and organic support. Vance’s breakthrough hit has now sold more than one million downloads and is still hanging around the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100. His new single “Mess Is Mine” was recently serviced to alternative radio stations.
