Oh, MKS aka Mutya Keisha Siobhan aka the Orgibabes aka the original Sugababes — what is going on with your musical output?

The British trio, comprised of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy, previously released the rather fantastic “Flatline” in 2013, and since then there have been a few teases and rumors about new material (most notably, a demo for a song called “Burnt Out” leaked last September), but no official follow-up single.

Today brings another song — possibly, like “Burnt Out,” a demo leak — in the form of “Back In The Day.” It begins with few somber piano notes before a mid-tempo beat kicks in and the three sing autobiographical, whimsical lyrics about their lives and career together.

By several accounts, MKS are still soldiering on with recording an album, and the three singer reportedly won a legal battle recently to retain the Sugababes name. Hopefully 2015 sees continued output from the ladies!
