Shayne Ward Reveals ‘Closer’ Bonus Track Titles, Announces “My Heart Would Take You Back” As Lead Single

After offering up the song titles for the standard version of upcoming album Closer (out April 13) last week, Shayne Ward posted the additional tracks that are set to appear on the deluxe version via Instagram. Funny enough, one of the bonus tunes is a cover of Sugababes‘ “About You Now,” the song that beat Ward’s own double A-side single “If That’s OK With You/No U Hang Up” to the top of the UK chart back in 2007.

Guess there are no hard feelings.

Earlier this week, Shayne posted cover art for “My Heart Would Take You Back” on Facebook and stated, “Can’t wait to share the first single off my new album!”

The video shoot for “My Heart Would Take You Back” is set to take place in London on February 25. You can hear a snippet of that song, plus the other nine tracks on the standard version of Closer, here.

By the way, the album, which is being funded through PledgeMusic, is now at 192% of its goal. That is a lot of overly-generous Shayne Ward fans.
