Anna Kendrick Raps To Iggy Azalea
'Pitch Perfect' star Anna Kendrick sang – and rapped to Iggy Azalea, no less – on 'SNL.'

Anna Kendrick‘s starring role in Pitch Perfect led to an unexpected hit single when “Cups (Pitch Perfect‘s When I’m Gone)” climbed all the way to number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold triple platinum. Her latest detour into the music business comes via the soundtrack of new movie The Last Five Years — a big-screen adaptation of Jason Robert Brown‘s Tony Award-winning musical.

The 29-year-old contributes 10 songs to the film including “A Summer In Ohio.” The oddball anthem/lead single is a jazzy little number with some highly unusual lyrics. “I could have a mansion on a hill, I could lease a villa in Seville,” Anna sings merrily. “But it wouldn’t be as nice as a summer in Ohio with a gay midget named Karl.” I’ll take her word for it. Listen to the quirky jam, which also references a former stripper and a snake, below.
