Lady Gaga Reunited With RedOne: See The Pic
Mother Monster might not be done crafting hits with one of her earliest pop collaborators.

Ever since Lady Gaga posted a few photos in the studio with her longtime collaborator RedOne, Little Monsters have been clamoring about the ARTPOP diva’s potential return to pop form with one of her earliest producers.

And in a new interview with Abu Dhabi’s The National, the “Poker Face” producer confirmed that the two were magic making in the studio once again — both for her new album and his first-ever solo project.

“We took a little break from each other and now it feels like we are in a good place, both of us. She did her thing, I did my thing, and it feels like we’re back on track together,” he explained in the interview, referring to the nearly RedOne-less ARTPOP and her foray into jazz with Cheek To Cheek in the past two years. “With Gaga, I’m fully committed until we’re done – we’re just going to work on writing songs – 20, 30, 40 songs – until we get hopefully the best album of the decade.” Gulp! Better not let Gaga hear you with those lofty goals, RedOne — she wants to keep it a surprise this time.

And he’s not just working on her follow-up: RedOne’s planning his first solo album, tentatively titled RedOne Presents, and he’s hoping to invite acts like Stevie Wonder, Lionel Ritchie, Priyanka Chopra, Enrique Iglesias and, of course, Lady Gaga into the studio for the sessions.  “They think it’s exciting, because they’re my buddies, but it’s not just about the artists – it’s about their labels, their rights, so there’s no ‘yes’ until it’s cleared from all angles. But of course I have a lot of friends, and they’re all willing to help. It’s going to be a fun album for sure.”
