Two members of Nicki Minaj‘s team were stabbed during a bar fight in Philadelphia last night (February 17). The femcee broke the news on Twitter and then expressed her condolences on Instagram. “Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly,” the “Only” hitmaker tweeted. “One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour.” She is referring to The Pinkprint European Tour, which kicks off in Stockholm, Sweden on March 16.

Nicki then posted a photo of the pair on Instagram. “Condolences to your family,” she wrote. “Unbelievable. Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy.” The stabbings occurred outside the Che Bar & Grill on Stenton Avenue in Philadelphia’s West Oak Lane neighborhood. An as-yet-unnamed 29-year-old man died on the scene, while a 27-year-old (known only as Eric) is expected to survive his injuries.

EDIT: The victim has been identified as De’Von ‘Day Day’ Pickett.
