Carly Rae Jepsen is plotting a major comeback, complete with a lead single (“I Really Like You”) and a Tom Hanks co-starring video that promises to kick-start her return to radio.
Her latest impressive move? Hitting the studio with singer-songwriter sister act (and fellow successful Canadian pop starlets!) Tegan & Sara. But if you’re thinking this is the first time the two have linked up on record, you’d be mistaken! Sara co-wrote “Sweetie,” the deluxe edition track from Carly’s sugary-sweet 2012 record, Kiss.
“Studio days with @teganandsara :),” Carly wrote on Instagram, along with picture proof of the collaboration.
