Who Will Win The Oscar For Best Original Song This Weekend?

Yesterday (February 19), it was announced that Nate Ruess of fun. will be the latest member to branch out as a solo artist. He dropped a 30-second teaser for his upcoming single, “Nothing Without Love” — which gives off a folky ballad vibe. The newly revealed cover art perfectly mimics the tune’s sound, as it features the singer/songwriter sitting in the middle of a vacant city street while gazing off into the distance. The vintage-looking overlay adds a touch of romance to the artist’s cover art.

Nate Ruess’ solo career comes straight after chart-topping feature on Pink‘s “Just Give Me A Reason” and fellow fun. member Jack Antonoff‘s side project with his band, Bleachers.

Look out for the “Nothing Without Love” single to drop in full on February 23, with an album to follow later in the year.
