Kanye West‘s “Only One” with Paul McCartney is an emotional and introspective cut, written from the perspective of his late mother, Donda. But even if the message is intensely personal to ‘Ye, it’s also touched plenty of people — including “Jealous” crooner Nick Jonas, who decided to put his own spin on the track on Sunday night.

“I love this song so much I had to sing it myself,” he tweeted to Kanye West yesterday, linking to a Soundcloud of his own cover.

It’s no doubt interesting to hear Nick’s take on the track, especially since his version is free from Kanye’s signature Auto-Tune touch. He keeps it faithful to the original, and the whole production feels like a humble, soulful tribute to Yeezus.
