Kanye West Replaces Rihanna As 2015 BRIT Awards Performer
Bad news, #Navy! After reportedly failing to show up for her rehearsals, Rihanna has been pulled from the 2015 BRIT Awards performance roster. So who did the ceremony book as a replacement? None other than her “FourFiveSeconds” collaborator, Kanye West!
The rapper is the last-minute addition to the forthcoming awards show, as the Bad Gal messed up the organizers’ plans. “Everything was prepared for Rihanna’s performance but she was a no-show,” a source stated. “The organizers are furious as she was one of the biggest coups.”
Hopefully this will be a lesson learned for the singer, who is notorious for showing up late at concerts and appearances. But the BRITs performance roster can stand strong without her! Along with Yeezy, Madonna, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, George Ezra and Royal Blood will all grace the stage. Look out for this year’s BRIT Awards when it airs on later today (February 25) at London’s famed O2 arena.
