Between his near 25-year stint with UK band Take That, an occasional solo career, penning songs for other artists and the several seasons he acted as a judge on The X Factor, Gary Barlow has become something of an entertainment mogul. Now he’s expanding his skill set into theater, particularly with upcoming Broadway musical Finding Neverland.

Inspired by the 2004 Johnny Depp movie of the same name, the Harvey Weinstein-produced Finding Neverland opens this spring at New York’s Lunt-Fontanne Theater and tells the story of Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie. The production stars Matthew Morrison of Glee, as well as Kelsey Grammar and Laura Michelle Kelly, while Barlow and music producer Eliot Kennedy (Spice Girls, The Wanted) handled the music and lyrics.

As a pop tie-in, Republic Records will release Finding Neverland (Songs From The Musical) on April 21, an album that will feature Nick Jonas, John Legend and Rita Ora — plus Barlow and Morrison — reinterpreting songs from the production.

Below are clips of Rita Ora and Matthew Morrison performing numbers from Finding Neverland at Harvey Weinstein’s annual pre-Oscars party last weekend:

According to a press release, more information about Finding Neverland (Songs From The Musical) will be released soon.
