The international Rebel Heart promotional campaign continues, this time with an emotional stop at Le Grand Journal in France.

Having already made a stop at Jonathan Ross to talk about her now infamous stage tumble at the 2015 BRIT Awards, the Queen Of Pop continues to promote her upcoming 13th studio record with an interview on Le Grand Journal in Paris, in which she spoke out about gay rights, Pussy Riot, Ukraine and fighting for freedom. As a surprise, the host also brought out Luz, the surviving Charlie Hebdo cartoonist, and the two engaged in a long, tearful embrace before sitting back down to talk. (Madonna previously spoke out about the act of terrorism on Instagram.)

Along with the interview segment, Madonna also performed two songs: A highly energetic remix of “Living For Love” (complete with plenty of voguing!) and, for the first time on TV, “Ghosttown.” To perform the song, Madge stood solemnly against the piano and simply belted out the tune, resulting in what was a deeply emotional performance.

Watch her performance of “Ghosttown” up top, then “Living For Love” and a brief clip of the interview below.
