The pop music pot is always brewing with new artists, and the latest on our radar is Zhala! The Swedish self-proclaimed “cosmic pop” singer first caught our eye back in 2014 when she signed to Robyn’s Konichiwa Records and dropped her “Prophet” tune, and now she is gearing up for a debut album!

Zhala unveiled the details of her forthcoming, self-titled project today (March 4). It will arrive on May 25 in the UK and Europe via Robyn’s record label, and includes the track “Aerobic Lambada” — which has been remixed by TR/ST. The new version is a wonderland of glitchy electronic effects, ’80s-style synths and ghost-like vocals.
