Shania Twain Announces Final 'Rock This Country Tour'
Shania Twain is hitting the road once again — for the last time.

After releasing the self-directed clip for “Aquarius” on her birthday, Tinashe has dropped yet another visual from her stunning debut album. This time around, it is for the dream-like downtempo “Bated Breath.”

Directed by Stephen Garnett, the mini-movie (it’s almost nine minutes long) finds the singer lurking through the Mojave Desert in army gear. Tinashe recently told W Magazine her experience with shooting the video: “It was pretty DIY. It wasn’t a big production or anything.”

She also revealed her label didn’t finance the visual, stating “I don’t like to sit around waiting for people to do things for me. So when I know my label’s not going to produce music videos, I’ll either make them myself or I’ll find people that I think are cool and reach out to them directly. I’m like, ‘Fuck it. I’ll just do it.’”

Continuing, “You have to fix your own hair, there’s no catering, and there’s no bathroom, but the challenges became benefits in this case, because they made the video a whole lot grungier. I was incredibly dirty, really dragging myself through the dirt. And it wasn’t like I could shower before I had to drive home.”

The singer’s debut LP Aquarius was released in October 2014, and features tracks like “Pretend,” “Bet” and “Feels Like Vegas.” Tinashe is now gearing up for a tour with Iggy Azalea and Nick Jonas beginning on April 14 in Fresno, CA.
