‘SNL’ Pokes Fun At The Iggy Azalea/Azealia Banks Beef: Watch
Saturday Night Live poked fun at the ongoing Iggy Azalea–Azealia Banks beef during its March 7 episode by imagining how they would interact outside of Twitter.
In the scenario, Azalea (Kate McKinnon) invites Banks (Sasheer Zamata) to her talk show The Iggy Azalea Show. Banks shows up because she thinks Azalea is going to apologize for targeting her. Instead, however, The New Classic rapper invites Banks to spit with her and her white rapper cousin (guest host Chris Hemsworth) on songs that are little more than nonsensical lists — “Mad haters, sweet po’taters” — with gun sounds. So, Banks sulks.
SNL‘s timing with this skit is strange, as Azalea and Banks have recently handed over their social media accounts to management — meaning, their feud is on pause for now. Watch up top.
