President Barack Obama made a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (March 13), where he discussed various topics: his thoughts on tweeting, the Ferguson events, aliens and…Kanye West?

The rapper is a supporter of the president and even stated in a recent Oxford University lecture that he “calls the home phone.” Well, according to Obama that really is not the case!

“I’ve met Kanye twice. The first time when I was a senator, and he was with his mom. He had just gotten big and he’s from Chicago…He was very soft spoken, very gracious. He was a young guy, hadn’t quite come into his own,” President Obama explained to Kimmel.

He continued, “Then, about six months ago, he came to an event. Look, I love his music, he’s incredibly creative, but I don’t think I have his home number.” Barack Obama is one of the cooler presidents in recent history, but he can’t be that accessible. Sorry, Kanye!

In bigger news, Kimmel is taking his late night show to Austin’s SXSW on March 20 and Yeezy is slated to perform! There are also rumors swirling about a surprise Stubb’s show from the rapper that Saturday. If it does happen, we’ll definitely be covering it!
