Josh Groban's New Album 'Stages'
Josh is taking on some of the greatest musical theater songs ever for his new LP.

In a musical theater mood? Ready to feel the sweetness and the sorrow? Josh Groban might just have the proper fix for you.

Bittersweet ballad “What I Did For Love,” from 1975 Broadway smash A Chorus Line, provides the first taste of Groban’s upcoming album Stages (out April 28). In the video for the clip, Josh stays true to the song’s parent material and appears on a bare stage, playing piano, singing into the empty wings and baring his soul through the song.

“Nothing has inspired me more in my life than the energy that is shared in a theater when great songs and great art are on the stage,” Groban says in a press release for Stages. “I wanted this album to pay tribute to those inspirations and memories.”

A few guests lent to their talents to the LP, including Kelly Clarkson, who features on “All I Ask Of You” (from Phantom Of The Opera).
