Dannii Minogue’s Comeback Anthem “Summer Of Love” Gets A Seamus Haji Remix: Listen
The whole world/universe breathed a deep sigh of relief when Dannii Minogue took it upon herself to save clubland with “Summer Of Love.” The dance deity threw the slightly-undercooked banger on iTunes to coincide with her party-stopping appearance at Sydney’s Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras — but, for parched fans, it was more than enough. And the Ian Masterson-produced anthem turned out to be something of a grower.
If you suspected Dannii wasn’t taking her comeback seriously, it’s time to get correct! The Queen of Clubs just dropped a bunch of “Summer Of Love” remixes and they are all a vast improvement on the original. As I Am and Rich B & Phil Marriot deliver decent interpretations, while the best overhaul belongs to veteran British DJ Seamus Haji. He brings the thinking man’s Minogue into the 2010s with a very respectable house remix. Check it out below.
