In Remembrance Of Better Times: Natalia Kills' Greatest Hits
We're looking back at Natalia's best musical moments before getting ousted on 'X Factor New Zealand.'

Does this count as an apology?

After Natalia Kills spoke out for the first time while leaving New Zealand with her husband Willy Moon after being fired from X Factor New Zealand due to their harsh tirade against contestant Joe Irvine, the two have both issued statements on their Twitter accounts lat night regarding the controversy.

Kills once again suggested that there was another side to the story in her statement:

“A lot goes on behind-the-scenes of a reality show and what you see isn’t always the whole story. The show brought me on to bring my passion, dramatic expression and perspective. I was encouraged to be outspoken and things got out of hand. Joe, I hope you can forgive me and I wish you all the best! Be natural, unconvential and be you!”

Moon echoed her sentiments:

“The reality of ‘reality’ TV is that there’s a lot the viewer doesn’t see. The show encourages judges to be forthright and highly opinionated. It went too far and I never intended to single anyone out. I wish the contestants, crew and particularly Joe, all the best.”

In the time since the two were fired, many pop stars have reacted to their fiery tirade, from Calvin Harris trashing the duo on Snapchat to Lorde and Ed Sheeran sending Joe Irvine words of encouragement — and cupcakes.

What do you think of the couple’s statement? And what do you think really happened? Sound off in the comments below.
