Jessie J Pays Tribute To Whitney Houston
Jessie J's powerhouse vocal style can be attributed to artists like Whitney Houston, and the UK songstress honored the late legend!

Jessie J cancelled a string of Australian tour dates earlier this week due to illness, but as it turns out, she might not be performing live any time soon.

According to The Mirror, the “Masterpiece” singer’s ongoing heart condition (Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which can cause an irregular heartbeat and shortness of breath) might require the singer to lip-sync at shows moving forward for her own health.

She’s spoken about the situation with The Sun: “I don’t know if I’m going to be in control to this as long as I want…[The condition affects me] more often than people think…You cover it up…I have prided myself in having got this far without having to lip-sync but if my career carries on moving at the pace that it is, I will have to lip-sync to be able to stay well.”

So sad! We’re hoping Jessie finds a way to keep her heart healthy while still being able to showcase those strong, talented pipes. In the meantime, rest up!
