Nick Jonas, John Legend and Rita Ora will be featured in the musical's soundtrack.

Rita Ora says — no, swears —  that her next single is coming soon. “I actually have decided on my first single and I’m not giving you the release date because it is this year,” she noted to Capital FM. “I swear. Just wait, please!”

Then, despite her protests, Ora elaborated: “It’s a midtempo, but it’s a heartfelt one. This will definitely come before the summertime.” She doesn’t say whether this song is the Diplo-produced “Testosterone,” which she at one point said would be on radio in February.

The Roc Nation pop star released her debut album, Ora, in 2012. Her next album will be the follow-up.

Ora has split her time over the past few years between fashion, film and ad campaigns. Next week, Empire will debut the music video for “NY Raining,” which she performs alongside rapper Charles Hamilton.

Ora explains, though, that she intended to take her time in between albums. “It’s only my second record but it feels like my first,” she said to GQ. “I gave this gap for a reason — because I wanted people to see the rebirth of Rita.”

Last night (March 20), Ora posted a new still from Empire‘s “NY Raining” video. Check it out below.
