Ariana Grande Joins Jimmy Fallon On ‘The Tonight Show’ For “Ew!”: Watch
Typically, Jimmy Fallon doesn’t break character when he plays 12-year-old Sara in his popular Tonight Show segment, “Ew!” This isn’t a easy task: Not only does he have to talk as if wearing braces, but often he sits opposite guests like Taylor Swift, Seth Rogen and Zac Efron, dressed like 12-year-old girls as well.
When Ariana Grande joined him on “Ew!,” though, she actually threw Fallon off with her own impersonation. She poses with him for a selfie, beats him in a sing-off and says “Ew!” to venti lattes (“I prefer grande”) — all easy jokes, given what we know about the My Everything star. But then she weighs in on actor Richard Dreyfuss, age 67.
“He’s cute.”
“You think he’s cute?” Fallon says, in disbelief.
Grande stopped by The Tonight Show after she performed the first of two Honeymoon Tour concerts at Madison Square Garden. So far, critics say that she was outshined by the stage production in the 18,000-person arena. (New York Post says she was “disappointingly anonymous.”) On “Ew!,” though, she shows plenty of personality. Watch up top.
