Idolator Takes On SXSW 2015 — Day Four Recap
Yesterday was a total musical joyride!

When we discovered this year’s SXSW lineup, the two artists we were most excited to see were Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne! Both acts (who arrived on the American musical radar from across the pond) engaged the Stubb’s crowd with such energy that we forgot about the pouring rain.

Glynne, who is emerging into her own as a solo artist, had the crowd’s full attention as her velvety vocals soared above her tunes’ dance-pop beat. One of the highlights from the set was her live version of new single, “Hold My Hand” — the first insight of what’s to come on the forthcoming debut album.

As for fellow UK act Clean Bandit? They transformed the muddy and wet venue into the ultimate dance party, thanks to heart-pumping performances of new single “Stronger” and their brilliant “Real Love” collaboration with Glynne. The band closed their set with the tune that placed them on the international map, 2014’s “Rather Be.” Saying the audience was overjoyed would be an understatement!

The Setlist Included:
“Come Over”
“Extraordinary”
“Stronger”
“Real Love” (featuring Jess Glynne)
“Rather Be” (featuring Jess Glynne)
“Hold My Hand”
