What’s a superstar supposed to do when a belligerent Belieber enters their mentions? If you’re Liam Payne, the answer is throwing a little shade at their hero. “Isn’t it kinda depressing for you to know that Justin Bieber will always be more successful than you?” trolled a fan. Instead of letting it slide, the One Direction heartthrob replied: “how many times have I been arrested.”
Liam’s amusing Twitter shade is a bright spot in an otherwise tough week for the 21-year-old. (His bandmate Zayn Malik recently dropped out of One Direction’s Asian tour due to health concerns). Of course, the troll tried to strike back by trying to trend the hashtag #BeliebersWantOneDirectionDead but there was only one winner here. See the tweets below.
