Will Young Reveals ‘85% Proof’ Album Cover & Release Date, Single “Love Revolution” Coming Friday
As teased yesterday, Will Young has a new album on the way, and today there are at least a few more concrete details about the original Pop Idol winner’s sixth studio LP. So here they are:
1. The album is called 85% Proof.
2. The cover art is above, and given the presence of the gymnastics bar, it’s giving us flashbacks to the video for Will’s 2011 Echoes single “Jealousy.”
3. 85% Proof has a May 25 release date.
4. The lead single from the album, “Love Revolution,” will premiere on Chris Evans’ BBC Radio 2 show this Friday (March 27) around 8:30 a.m. UK time.
That’s about all we have to go by. And Friday, we won’t have any sort of inkling as to the sound of this album. That said, if it’s anything like Echoes, all should be right in the world.
