Pop Perspective: Rih's "Bitch Better Have My Money"
Find out what all four Idolator editors had to say about the polarizing track!

WHEW — this week in music sure has been a busy one! After Austin’s festival joyride that was SXSW (did you catch up on our recaps, by the way?), the following days were filled with major events. Natalia Kills was a little too overzealous with her defense of her kind-of famous (?) husband Willy Moon on The X Factor New Zealand, which sparked controversy all over the Internet.

Brandon Flowers released his stellar “Can’t Deny My Love” single, and we still can’t get enough of it! While Kendrick Lamar dropped his highly-anticipated To Pimp A Butterfly LP. We also interviewed Years & Years and Jess Glynne in the midst of all the madness!

We also looked back at *NSYNC’s No Strings Attached album, as it turned 15 years old — can’t you believe it? Lastly, Rihanna unveiled her “Bitch Better Have My Money” single — which has everyone (including us Idolator editors) in a polarizing frenzy!

And of course, our readers spoke their minds on the going-ons in the frantic music world. Read some of the best and worst comments below!

:: guyxsf was not feeling Natalia Kills’ antics on Natalia Kills Talks ‘X Factor New Zealand’ Controversy, Shares Willy Moon-Joe Irvine Comparison Photo: “I’m floored she pulled out this collage to prove her point instead of apologizing. I predict Joe Irvine will have a better record contract than her (and her husband) in the very near future.”

:: Elveryska shared the same sentiments: “Everyone look like “trash” at the auditions and the very beginning. So did he. But of course, does Willy Moon owns patent for a suit? Was he the very first guy ever wearing a suit? So why is she wasting time of making her point, when all she does shows how stupid and how big her ego is.. Just stop. Can’t guy look good any more just because he never dressed like this before?”

:: Sean Massich isn’t too sure about Ryn Weaver on Ryn Weaver Unveils The Cover And Tracklist Of Debut LP ‘The Fool’: “I’m still scarred from her Octahate performance on Letterman”

:: While musiqlova threw some shade on Iggy Azalea Slays SXSW 2015: 9 Pics Of Her Sizzling Performance: “All of her hits? … So her set was 2 songs long.”

:: Like many people, Thomas Alex Dugrosprez is over Rita Ora on Rita Ora’s New Single To Arrive Before Summertime (She Swears): “I’m wondering what we’re still expecting from her at this point. Yes, her music can be at times above-average, but this situation gets tiring. Stop teasing if you’re not going to deliver. I know she had issues since her break-up with her executive producer, but come on. Stop teasing, deliver!”

:: Sauli Koskinen is very anxious for new Lambert on Adam Lambert Broods For Rankin In ‘Hunger’ And Talks “Ghost Town” And ‘The Original High’: 6 Photos: “I want it to be April 21st right now. That tune was so damn catchy, I can’t stop listening to it. I’ll be on the verge of exploding when the single comes out holy crap I’m so excited, ” Everyday you give away a piece of yourself until nothing is left, and that’s how you become a ghost”, these are the only lyrics we have so far. So looking forward to April (;”

:: J Stone came for Taylor Swift on Taylor Swift’s Albums Are Now Streaming On Jay Z’s TIDAL Music Service: “Taylor must have thought those ungratful swifties were not coughing up enough money to support her in the style that she thought she deserved. Come on people, this is your “god” – keep shoveling that money her way. If by some chance you run out of cash, go have a baby and sell him/her and then send Taylor the proceeds. Taylor’s PR team just might send you a Christmas card, comment on your web page, or do something else to acknowledge your pityful existence if you only get with the program.”

:: Thomas Alex Dugrosprez acknowledged our humor on Pop Perspective: Rih’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” Reviewed By All Four Idolator Editors: “There are no words to describe how hilarious the “Poor man’s Beyoncé” expression is.”

:: Lee Yasir isn’t feeling RiRi on Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” Arrives In Full: Listen: “The only song Beyonce released remotely similar to this was 7/11, which was released after Rihanna came out with Pour it up. Not to mention her last album was a complete rip off of Rihanna’s entire image, but that’s another story.”

:: But M.R. quickly gathered his wig: “haha a complete ripoff? How? Overt sexuality? Urban-sexy-clothing? Did you not follow Destiny’s Child? They have long been like that. Beyoncé has rode hip-hop beats for ages. Anyway, this song is basic and generic. It’s literally a parody of what a rap song is, not a valid contribution to the world of music. Where is that timeless music that she spoke of? Surely it can’t be an already dated concept of ‘bitches” and “money’?”

:: Lastly, bettie tried to come for our wig on Troll Alert: Skeme Claims He Ghost Wrote Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” Then Denied It On Twitter: “Why is idolator mad at the truth?? It is weird b/c if she was Nicki Minaj or Azaelia Banks they would be happy for this breaking news story.”
