Find out what all four Idolator editors had to say about the polarizing track!

Vance Joy is following up his Platinum-selling single “Riptide” and “Mess Is Mine” with a new video for the emotional ballad, “Georgia.” In the clip, the Australian singer-songwriter takes a backseat, with the plot centering on two soldiers who are in the middle of an intense war.

It has a very cinematic feel and evokes powerful feelings that are sure to bring forth a few tears! Be sure to stick around for the end of the video, as it has a very unexpected plot twist. This is an early frontrunner for the year’s best video.

“Georgia” is taken from Vance Joy’s debut album, Dream Your Life Way, which was released in September 2014. He is gearing up for his first North American headlining tour, which kicks off on April 9 in Seattle, WA. The singer/songwriter will then hit the road as Taylor Swift’s support act.
