The Mowgli’s Keep It Upbeat And Uplifting On “Bad Dream”: Idolator Premiere

The Mowgli’s continue to roll out impressive cuts from second LP Kids In Love (due April 14). Relentlessly cheerful lead single “I’m Good” set the upbeat tone of the album, while “Through The Dark” found the seven-piece band in a more reflective mood. The Cali rockers return to their serotonin-raising ways on catchy new track “Bad Dream,” which we are excited to premiere.

“We had a lot of fun writing and recording the song with [Los Angeles-based production trio] Captain Cuts,” The Mowgli’s told us. “We wanted to write a song about taking inventory of all the amazing things in your life, and remembering them when things suck.”

They convey that uplifting message via a three minute rush of fist-pumping pop/rock with an instantly hummable chorus. Check out the band’s latest earworm below.
