Iggy Azalea Talks Britney Spears Duet
Iggy Azalea is really excited about working with Britney and happy to share details.

Another day, another tidbit about Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears’ much-anticipated collaboration “Pretty Girls.” In addition to breaking down the evolution of the song on the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday night (March 29), the Australian femcee also revealed that she’s co-directing the video! “I’m going to be co-directing the video next week,” she told Access Hollywood.

“That’s been awesome,” the 24-year-old continued. “Not only getting to work with her and write the song, but also having something to do with the visual and all that has been great. It’s just an honor that she would even let me do that for her, so I’m very excited.”

It’s actually not that surprising — after all, she helmed her last two clips. “I directed my last music video ‘Trouble’ and I directed ‘Black Widow,’ so it will be my first time directing someone else’s video — which I’m really nervous about. I want to do her justice!” But it’s far from a one-woman show. “She’s also had her own input in and it’s been a cool process.”

“I’ve got her number, so I’ve been harassing her… she’s added some of her own ideas as well, which is really cool and I think it will be authentic to her too.” The looming summer smash drops May 5, so we should at least be hearing a preview in the next couple of weeks. Watch Iggy’s interview below. (Warning — the video takes a while to load).
