Hayley Kiyoko Shares Personal “Given It All” Lyric Video: Idolator Premiere
Hayley Kiyoko celebrates her 24th birthday today (April 3) by dropping a fan-generated lyric video for new single “Given It All.” It’s a testament to the close bond she shares with followers/friends around the globe. “When I first wrote ‘Given It All,’ it was first about being in a one sided relationship and wanting to break the surface layer,” she tells Idolator. “But the song has been evolving into different meanings now that it’s out.”
“I see it more so as a song that brings all of the lonely hearts together and that’s a force to be reckoned with,” the “This Side Of Paradise” diva continues. “Fans from Poland, Germany, Japan, Brazil etc. sent videos of themselves singing ‘Given It All,’ and I’m so proud and excited to have this song dedicated to them.” In addition to persuing her music career, Hayley also stars in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Jem And The Holograms.
