Adam Lambert spilled the beans on new single "Ghost Town" in 'Hunger' magazine.

Still recovering from that instrumental snippet of Adam Lambert’s comeback single “Ghost Town”? Well, brace yourself for a fit of uncontrollable crying and shaking because the fiercest American Idol contestant of all time just shared a second preview. And this time you can actually hear him singing! “And now I know my heart is ghost town,” the 33-year-old croons over simple guitar strings. There’s even a spooky voice effect.

At first we all assumed the Max Martin-produced anthem would be a straight-up dance anthem given the swooping synths in the original snippet, but now I’d bet money on it being an acoustic/dance hybrid in the mold of Avicii’s “Hey Brother.” Regardless, Adam’s first single since 2012’s “Tresspassing” sounds incredible. He described it as “the perfect introduction” to third LP The Original High in his interview with Hunger magazine and, after hearing this, it’s hard to disagree.
