Diane Warren Delivers An Update On Lady Gaga Collaboration “Till It Happens To You”

Diane Warren is seriously passionate about gut-wrenching Lady Gaga collaboration “Till It Happens To You,” which appears in Kirby Dirk’s The Hunting Ground — a documentary about rape culture at college campuses. The legendary songwriter has tweeted pictures of herself (and friends) crying while listening to the track and regularly gives Little Monsters updates on its progress.

“Dear Monsters I want the full version of TIHTY out more than U do!!!” she tweeted today (April 6). “LG wants to do another mix of it + then U will hear in its full glory!!!” Diane also explained what makes “Till It Happens To You” so special: “The 1st verse, sung w such vulnerability, then the second verse is defiant.” The low quality version that surfaced online sounds great, but a new mix might lift the important anthem to even greater heights.
