Miley Cyrus Records A Verse With Mike WiLL Made It, Possibly For Rae Sremmurd: Watch
Miley Cyrus reunited with hip-hop producer Mike WiLL Made It in the studio last night (April 11), and for what may be a Rae Sremmurd collaboration. In a video posted to Instagram, Cyrus plays a new, somewhat explicit verse — “He wanna taste my Gummy, it’s magically delicious.”
“[W]erking on yo next no flexed,” Cyrus says in the caption, as in Rae Sremmurd’s “No Flex Zone.” Shortly after the Tupelo, MS, hip-hop duo signed to Mike WiLL’s Interscope imprint Ear Drummers, they scored their first Hot 100-charting (and Solange–approved) hit with the club-ready single.
Once Cyrus released 2013’s Bangerz, executive produced by Mike WiLL, she started working extensively with Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips. They’ve covered the Beatles together and they also hit the studio with Ariel Pink, who was once called “the most hated man in indie rock.”
Then just a few weeks ago, the singer popped up during Mike WiLL’s SXSW set. She walked out performing “23” (which also features Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J) before she sang Bangerz lead single “We Can’t Stop” and twerked to Rae Sremmurd’s “Throw Sum Mo.”
