Made In Heights' "Ghosts" Is Synth-Pop Perfection
Made In Heights dropped one of the best singles of 2014 with the dreamy "Ghosts."

Made In Heights delivered two of 2014’s best singles with gorgeous synth-pop anthems “Ghosts” and “Panther.” The L.A.-based duo’s hot streak continues with “Forgiveness” — the latest taste of their still-untitled sophomore LP (due May 26). While quirky and experimental, the track is a little easier to consume than their previous fare with a dizzying array of hooks and an instantly catchy chorus.

“Round we go and the lights are low, and the circus fades you were always carouseling,” Kelsey Bulkin coos over Sabzi’s spooky, rubbery synths. “All the circles trace as I turn my page and you hear the bass.” There’s even a cute drop towards the end of the song. It’s another intricately created, multi-layered winner from Made In Heights. At this rate, their album is shaping up to be something extraordinary.
