Adam Lambert Talks "Ghost Town"
Adam Lambert spilled the beans on new single "Ghost Town" in 'Hunger' magazine.

Another day, another brooding photoshoot from Adam Lambert. (Hey, we’re not complaining one bit!)

While we await the talented crooner’s forthcoming return with “Ghost Town” later this month, the American Idol alum has made the wait a little bit easier by giving us a whole bunch of cover stories, including Attitude and Hunger. His latest cameo? A cover story in Issue 69 of NOTION,

Looking tall, dark and hunky, the singer talks The Original High, his highly anticipated upcoming third studio LP executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback ,which came as a moment of introspection according to the singer: “The music industry is so crazy, competitive and focused, and after the Trespassing album I kind of had to stop and ask myself ‘why am I doing this? What do I want? Who am I? What am I about?’ and just re-examine at everything. I finally became more grounded about all of the fame stuff; it’s not freaking me out anymore,” he explains in the magazine.

He also provided just a little bit more insight into the sound of High: “[The album is] dance-y but bittersweet, and the lyrics are a little darker [than they have been, previously]. I’ve done the more bubblegum stuff, I’ve done the camp stuff, and now I want to encourage people to face their shit. I want to show them the part of me that’s not all polished or [still part of] the ‘pageant on TV’ thing – I want it to be real, you know?”

Glamberts, make sure to snag a copy of the issue when it’s out on April 24. Are you excited to hear the album? Sound off in the comments.
