Brandon Flowers Previewed New LP ‘The Desired Effect’ With A Special Showcase At The Troubadour: 12 Pics
Brandon Flowers previewed his long-overdue sophomore LP The Desired Effect (due May 19) with a special showcase at The Troubadour in Los Angeles last night (April 14). The Killers frontman put on an electric display of showmanship — belting out anthemic lead single “Can’t Deny My Love” and its equally great follow-up “Still Want You.”
And how does the rest of the Ariel Rechtshaid-produced album sound? Uniformly excellent, if the songs Brandon performed last night are any indication. The above-mentioned singles reflect LP’s eclectic blend of influences and are a testament to the 33-year-old’s growth as a songwriter. Click through photos from his set up top.
