Madonna And Drake Address Coachella Kiss
Madonna and Drake have both responded to the negative comments about their kiss.

If you expected Madonna to simply sit back and suck up the criticism leveled at her for kissing Drake at Coachella, you were sorely mistaken. The 56-year-old has already addressed the ageist remarks and memes that litter the internet in the wake of her performance, but she’s still dropping truth bombs on Instagram. The Rebel Heart hitmaker started her one-woman war against misogyny by thanking Rita Ora for her support last night (April 14).

“Thanks Rita!” she captioned an Instagram post. “Good to know you appreciate the beating I’m taking so all you ladies don’t have to endure this kind of discrimination!” Madonna then posted a video of her daughter Mercy playing and wrote: “Shall i tell Mercy that she and her friends cannot be fierce when they are 56? Nope! I am raising #rebelhearts.” The Queen of pop kept the comments coming today.

“I hope people are not mean to champagnepapi [ie. Drake] when he is 56 and still working the stage!” Madonna captioned a cartoon. “That would not be nice for him!” However, the original #unapologetic bitch had calmed down by this afternoon. “The Queen always rises above! T’inquiete pas!” she exclaimed. I see no lies in the pop icon’s commentary. The double standards facing women in the music industry are despicable and need to be addressed urgently.
