Yesterday marked the latest episode of pop star body shaming, as people teased Selena Gomez for her bikini body and posted photos all across social media. Well, the “I Want You To Know” starlet wants you to know that she doesn’t care what you think!
Soon after the fiasco, Selena posted two very cute but intentionally sassy photos of her rocking a sexy black bikini — her subtle-but-effective response to the haters. One even included the caption: “I love being happy with me yall #theresmoretolove ”
Body shaming continues to be a nasty thing in pop culture, with Pink, Madonna, Kelly Clarkson and more being criticized for their female forms. It doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon, but we’re happy these ladies are not afraid to stand up for themselves and others!
