Leona Lewis Signs To Def Jam
Things are finally coming together for Leona Lewis. She just with Def Jam Records in the US.

Jessie J has a powerful voice that pairs well with ballads, which is just what she has done for her new tune! Titled “Flashlight,” the slow song is off the Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack.

The UK songstress reverts away from the sassiness found in tracks like “Bang Bang” and “Burnin’ Up” and unveils her more vulnerable side as she sings about that special someone who has always been her guiding light — hence the “Flashlight” title. The song does not have much of a stand-out factor, but Jessie’s voice is definitely strong and in control on this one.

Pitch Perfect 2 is set to be released in the U.S. on May 15 via Universal Pictures. Take a listen to “Flashlight” below, and let us know what you think in the comments!
