Lianne La Havas impressed all the right people (including Prince) with debut LP Is Your Love Big Enough?. The critically-acclaimed set featured prominently in 2012 Year End lists and peaked at number four in the UK — not bad considering the album produced no hit singles. That situation could well change with the arrival of “Unstoppable,” the first taste of the British diva’s sophomore LP Blood.

A soaring jazz-pop concoction that conjures images of dappled sunlight and lazy afternoons, “Unstoppable” begins subtly enough with breezy chimes, but soon builds into something spectacular. “Our polarities shifted around, there’s nothing else left holding us down,” the 25-year-old sings in a voice that sounds like a young Shirley Bassey. “It’s just gravitational, we are unstoppable.”

Listen to the exquisite anthem below, and check out the tracklist and cover of Lianne’s sophomore LP underneath that.
