'The Voice' runner-up Jacquie Lee takes us behind the scenes of her "Broken Ones."

Since leaving The Voice (she was the season five runner-up), Jacquie Lee has been hard at work promoting debut EP Broken Ones. The gritty title track showcased the vocal prowess that persuaded Christina Aguilera to push that red button, while the angst-filled follow-up “Tears Fall” finds the 17-year-old coming to terms with a broken heart.

“Tears fall and I know that this pain is just a part of life,” the big-lunged teen sings in the jaded/realistic chorus. The track was written by Australian singer/songwriter Sia, which helps explain the surprisingly cutting lyrics. Jacquie’s latest anthem is steadily gaining ground on Pop and Hot AC radio, and should gain even more momentum with the release of the video. Check it out up top.
