Chet Faker's Mesmerizing "Gold" Video
Chet Faker's dreamy, hypnotic "Gold" video was one of 2014's best visuals. Watch.

Chet Faker is on one hell of a roll. The Australian singer/producer’s debut LP Built On Glass was a massive critical and commercial success at home (three tracks featured on Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2014 countdown), and the buzz surrounding his music continues to grow stateside with the viral success of slinky electro-soul anthem “Gold” and a string of mesmerizing live performances — including Coachella, sold-out side shows and an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The 26-year-old continued his promo blitz on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (April 22). Chet delivered an engaging rendition of “Gold,” which is impressive given the dreamy, intimate nature of the song. The Melbourne-born hitmaker really got the crowd going with the more upbeat “1998,” which allowed him to show off his trademark, drowsy dance moves. Watch the rising star in action up top and below.
