Oliver Nelson Transforms Blonde & Alex Newell’s “All Cried Out” Into A Nu-Disco Gem: Listen
We are already in love with Blonde and Alex Newell’s “All Cried Out” collaboration since it first dropped in February, but now Oliver Nelson has put a fun twist with his remix that released today (April 23)
The producer, who hails from Stockholm, transforms the original version’s house core into a nu-disco groove. It is complete with airy piano melodies and cheerful vocal effects that makes the remix such a refreshing listen in the midst of the current heavy-hitting synth wave. Back in December, Nelson remixed Marina And The Diamonds’ “Froot” single — which is another Idolator favorite.
